Judge Authorizes Notice to Prominence Security Agency Security Guards
On August 6, 2008, a federal judge authorized notice be sent to current and former managers security guards of Prominence Security Agency, Inc. to join a lawsuit in which the plaintiff alleges security guards employed by the company were worked in excess of 40 hours per week but not paid time and one-half overtime as the plaintiff alleges the Fair Labor Standards Act required. The case is styled, Glenn Miller v. Prominence Security Agency, Inc. et al; Civil Action No. H-08-00978 and is curently pending in the United States District Court for the Soutern District of Texas, Houston Division. G.
